Irish Wolfhound Rescue
Dear Irish Wolfhound Admirer:
Thank you for your interest in the North Texas Irish Wolfhound Club's rescue endeavors. We appreciate your inquiry about becoming a Rescue Home. From time to time, for a number of reasons, orphans become available for adoption. It is our intention, with your help, to find and match those orphans to loving homes.
A completed questionnaire is required of all potential Rescue Homes so that we can best match the most compatible hound with your family and lifestyle. Questionnaires are available on request by calling the club. We should also mention that the number of adoptable Wolfhounds varies. We never know when, where, or what, will become available, so we do appreciate your patience.
All of our hounds are spayed/neutered and health checked before being released to their new homes. We do ask, if possible, for the new owners to reimburse the Rescue Group for any medical bills and expenses incurred. These charges are, for the most part, minimal, and will be discussed with the adoptive home beforehand. We are purely a volunteer organization and all monies made through donations are used to cover the cost of mailings, such as this, and dog care expenses.
Again, thank you for your interest in the North Texas Irish Wolfhound Club Rescue Program. We hope to hear from you soon. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. Ann Sury, who co-chairs the rescue effort, is also available to provide additional information or assistance.
